It began in high school, way back in the late 1980's. I wrote a few clever short stories for English class and was encouraged to submit them to some local literary contests. They were the cheesiest things imaginable; looking back on them now I can hardly contain my laughter at how utterly bad they were. But they won awards and acclaim, and I caught the writing bug.

Since then, I've written something like sixty short stories, a handful of novellas, and even now I'm in the midst of work on a full-length novel. My output over the years has been impressive-- in quantity, if not in quality.

Collected here is a sampling of those stories. Some are good, some are bad. Read at your own risk. And let me know what you think; I could always use some constructive criticism.

Just click the name of a story from the list on the right and you'll pop it up in a new window. Please note these are PDF files; you'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them.
